Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation. Your might to all who are to come. Psalm 71:17 - 18

my wedding dress

So on Tuesday morning, I went to S's mom's house to talk to her about my wedding dress. I got this amazing hook up by a friend's mom who's made tonnes of wedding dresses and she agreed to do mine for a very very reasonable price. So I'm pretty psyched about the whole thing because I trust this lady with my special dress, and she made my whole day (and wedding budget!), by making this dress for me. So whoohooo for S's mom!

On a similar note...the past few weekends have been spent driving all over the place with V, looking for places to live. We visited the church that we want to book at this past Sunday and liked the whole atmosphere. My finance even said to me tonight before he left my place, that we should start a joint account over the weekend. So things are moving quite nicely for us.

You know, people have been asking me recently whether or not I'm excited about the wedding...and truth be told, I am excited. I think it's going to be a great day, with great people, great friends, and great food. But what I TRULY am REALLY excited for...is moving into a house with V, sleeping and waking up beside him, and cooking in my new kitchen. THAT'S what I'm REALLY excited for. The wedding day...is...well, just a day. But we're talking about two lives and a lifetime here...

So cheers to the wedding day...my dress, my house, my kitchen...my Vince.
