So I've decided to change the template of my blog. No HavoC, it's NOT because you threatened that you're not going to save me, but because I feel this matches my personality better than the bland black background. :)
So for now, a small update on my 3rd ever (and last) Reading Week. While academically productive, this week has also been filled with fun activities. Notable are the 2005 Canadian International Auto show at which some friends and I had an awesome time scoping out new models and seeing which ones that are affordable. Next, the cadio pilates that I did with some ladies at church..all of whom where significantly older than I and none ached as much as I did. How sad...Im only 21, but for two days after that work out I couldnt squat on the toilet seat without having to grab something for balance...:( Moving on is the Friday night fellowship that was once again held at the Fong's place. It's great to be able to be among univ students and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ who I havent seen in a long time. The pinnacle of Friday Night: LOK BOH!! A game that around 10 of us made up and played for about an hour. This is going to be big guys...I feel a league coming on. And last but not least, my boyfriend's birthday on the Sunday. Good church day, excellent lunch at the pretentious country club and then a nice home cooked dinner to end off the day. All in all, a good reading week..:)
And moving on to deeper things, Im in the slow process of getting back into the routine of devos. Last night was the first night I honestly sat down and prayed with a full and heavy heart. It's not wonder that prayer is so stressed in the bible...it gives a renewal of life, of spirit and of passion for Christ. Every time I think I "know" all there is to know about God's ways, He shows me something else and reminds me to humble myself. I've been yearning for my campus for so long, but really, I've done nothing for it. I doubt that it's too late for me to do anything, as I know that the seeds that are sow may not reap in my time. Just as generations past have prayed for McMaster, I know that everything that He does through me does not go in vain. I pray and I hope that I will be able to preservere not being able to see the end product. What a wonderful maker and Saviour. His whispers and majestic and His love is so humble. He has a strength like no other, with a heart of a Father. What a wonderful God.
