AKEX..a new Victoria's Secret bra?

Im sure that title got YOUR attn you little perv!!! Anyway, AKEX is not a new Victoria's Secret bra..but actually a day Alyssa, Elim and I named after ourselves!! It stands for Alyssa.Kelly.Elim.Xtreme!!!!! Let me explain..

Today..was a beautiful day. The sun was shining down, it was well over 20 degrees there wasnt a cloud in sight. Absolutely gorgeous! Because of this awesome day, Alyssa and I decided to have lunch on an outdoor patio at Main Street Unionville. After that, we planned to rollerblade and play some tennis. A full filled..extreme day!! So, we parked at Main Street walked till we found a good restaurant and requested a seat on their roof-top patio. We had a greek/caeser salad and a corned beef sandwich. Those servers were just firkin amazing! *wink*

After lunch, it was a mad hunt to find a place where it was safe to rollerblade. This is because Alyssa and I didnt know how to that much and we were scared. We decided to rollerblade near Elim's house was (where all the trials are) and so we called her up. And so, after an hour of going up and down the trails, Alyssa, Elim and I headed back to Lim's place to get some water and shoot some hoops.

We were almost done...when Yvette (Elim's younger sister) got home from getting her hair done for her prom. She hated it...so it was a mad dash to my house to get some hair stuff...and a mad rush to finish curling her entire head of hair in an hour and a half. Im glad I could have helped..and I hope she had a good time :) I miss those high school days ;)

Anyway...for those who dont know, I just recently came back from an NYC trip. It's something that I would never do again...take a Chinese bus tour down there, and go with family. Ugh. If you want to see pictures from it, feel free to head to my imagestation or myspace.

COMPLETE!!!

I have COMPLETED my room transformation!!! It's 5AM on a Thursday morning and I got back from the midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith about 1.5 hours ago. My room was in a mess because I had gone to Hamilton earlier today to clean out the rest of my stuff. I decided I couldnt stand the mess so I cleaned it up. And now..my room is complete!!! I've brought my printer, my phone and my dinky little speakers back. It's spic and span in here and I love it!! I feel like a new person.

But anyway, on a lighter note (and this for the earring crazy ladies out there)...I've found a new place for cheap earrings!!!! My mother and I were walking around Promenade today when she decided that she wanted to find gold earrings to match her gold necklace for this weekend's wedding. So we wandered into Claire's and behold...a section of "redline" items that were 10 for $10!!!! I used to think that H&M had a really good selection with very good prices. It's still true that they are very economical, but 10 pairs of delicate chandeliar earrings for 10 BUCKS?! What a steal!!!!! ..but yes, that's all I wanted to gloat... :)

Turning over a...

Even though"turning over a new leaf" is an applicable statement, I think it's too cliche, so I dont want to use it. Meh, sue me...

Recently, I've been really excited and encouraged at all the things that are happening at church. My church (Richmond Hill Chinese Community Church) is undergoing some huge changes. We have new pastors, new fellowship structures and is in the process of expanding the building. In all this, I am so glad that the leadership of the church has taken me into consideration and given me many opportunities to serve. I feel so blessed and humbled to be asked and I'm so thankful that these opportunities will help me in my future studies and my career. Things are definetly looking good and I have no one to thank but Him.
