YLD Unity Praise Night

Sunday, July 3rd 2005 was our first ever Young Life Development Unity Praise Night. Although the turn out of the night was not all that was expected, I dont measure success by the numbers, but how we praised God. I think Ricky and I were really discouraged at first because we had practiced very hard and really wanted to see all the fellowships come together and worship in unison, but after praying, we realized that we needed to push forth and simply...worship.

And that is exactly what we did. After the night ended, we had a lot of good feedback. I was especially encouraged when I found that there were newcommers and when I was approached by Rex and Kevin who asked if they could get involved with something like this. When Ricky and I were trying to get this thing going, we had to practically beg people to commit. So I think it's awesome that people are now willing to offer up their services. Im hoping/praying/antipicating that our next YLD Praise Night will be even better with even MORE voices to praise God!

Anyhow, it is July 5th right now, but it was my brother's 20th birthday on the 4th. Just want to wish him a very happy birthday :)
